We witnessed restoration first hand, as we saw it unfolding right before our eyes on the beach. True restoration flows from the power of the Holy Spirit living within us, and it often begins with the brave step of repentance—taking responsibility for the brokenness we may have caused. From there, we release the hurt caused by others and choose to forgive. These steps open the door for a true restoration of relationships. Something is happening on our beach! 🌊 It’s a Beach Restoration Program, and I was in awe watching the process unfold recently. It is vital when erosion takes its toll, but it’s not just for the sandy shores. We all need restoration in our lives! Restoration is a beautiful thing. It’s the process of returning something to its original—or even better—condition. Whether it’s a beach or a heart, the work is intentional and transformative. While we often try to restore ourselves by walking along beautiful beaches like this, God’s creation cannot do what the Creator does. We need more than a recharge, and 1 Peter 5:10 provides guidance here. "And the God of all grace, who called you to his eternal glory in Christ, after you have suffered a little while, will himself restore you and make you strong, firm and steadfast." We cannot fix ourselves. True restoration is divine work.
